Before Dr. Arlene Jaffe, I had many issues with my teeth, due to being severely malnourished as a child. It’s amazing how not being able to break down and chew your food properly can affect your overall health. Each and every tooth has a purpose; God knew what he was doing. I slowly lost my teeth as an adult, I did everything I could possibly do to save them and couldn’t. I practically swallowed my food whole and choose food that didn’t require much chewing, I would become very hungry, experienced much heart burn, indigestion, acid reflux, chest pain so bad there were times I thought I was having a heart attack, no joke! My stomach was producing enormous amount of acid to digest my food, as well as the pain from many tooth aches. I’m very young and accepted the fact that this is how it is, became accustomed to it. Arlene Jaffe, DDS has to be the best dentist I have ever ever been to. She was able to do a total reconstruction of my teeth that a bad dentist had mangled many years ago. Corrected my jaw alignment, and totally stopped my jaw from popping out of joint. She worked with me to develop a plan which suited me; I didn't want any implants, and I wanted any bridges to be permanent, not removable. We needed to do crowns on all teeth, which I knew before I went to her, as they had all been ground down to nubs by the awful crock "dentist" of years ago. Because of having to build up my entire bottom teeth, and realigning the jaw and bite, she went very slowly, to make sure to not traumatize the jawbone. She had explained all this and we discussed and made the plan together, which was an ongoing process. Every step was discussed as we went along.. Although it was a LOT of hours in the chair, Dr Jaffe was ever so gentle. I actually fell asleep in the chair while she was removing old crowns and ...

I called in dire pain on a weekend and Dr. Jaffe opened the office for me on a Sunday. She performed an emergency root canal, gave me enough Novocaine to make comfortable that I could finally get some sleep for a couple of hours as well. The whole office is like this. Friendly, family oriented, makes their patients comfortable and treats them with respect. Not only did Dr. Jaffe take me on a Sunday but she also called me that night to check up on me. Now tell me, do you have a dentist that will do this? I highly recommend... NO, I insist you give them a call. This is a very special group.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all.

Dr. Jaffe is friendly and efficient. I have always been nervous going to a new dentist. After visiting Dr. Jaffe for the first time and having work done, I will feel much more comfortable the next time I visit because my initial experience was very good. I was not kept waiting which is almost unheard of in a dental office.
